I have a very picky eater in my family, so any chance I have a night to myself with my son, I get to enjoy some good stir fry with chicken and vegetables. Not only is is good for me, but it is fun to cook with my colorful fry pans.

I am looking forward to cooking many more dishes in my fry pans in the future. They are so easy to use and the clean up is even easier. Maybe the next time I  will whip up some shrimp fettuccine. That sounds like a Great idea!!

I was never a big coffee drinker, but I must say, when I do want one, or when I have company,  I love using my Hamiltonbeach Brewstation to make the perfect cup. It always brews just enough for our mornings.

I got my mother one for her birthday and she loves hers. Her hamiltonbeach brewstation is well used at her house. She brags about it to her friends. Very nice as a gift for that coffee drinker in your life. A great start to your day.

I was excited about the weekend, I wanted to have some friends and family over for some great home cooked goodies. Since the Holidays are over it has slowed down a little around The Hicks household. I love being around friends and family so I decided to have a get together.

I Love Cooking in my Aluminum Cookware, We made all the fixings. Pork Chops, rice and gravy, mashed potato’s, potato salad. We wanted everyone to have a little bit of a choice. Let’s not forget the fried chicken with the green bean casserole. It was such a fun day, and the clean up is a  snap with this wonderful Aluminum Cookware. Happy Wednesday everyone.

Once again I have to say that  I just love cooking with the kids. We started our weekly Pizza night about a month ago. The kids and I look forward to it so much.

With our new Deep Dish Pizza Pan it is such an easy and fast dinner that everyone can enjoy. We always change it up. One week I pick the toppings, the next week my son, then daughter, and so on.  It always turns out so wonderful and perfect in our deep dish pizza pan. Hope you are having a wonderful start to your new year.

I was excited to throw my sister a birthday party over the weekend. She loves potato salad and fried chicken. So I got some of Paula Deans recipes and made her a great birthday dinner. Even though it will be her birthday, she insists on helping me with the cooking.

I loved cooking with her and using my stainless steel cookware. She fell in love with how easy it was to cook in  the cookware and they keep their beauty. After a great dinner and birthday gifts, we barley had any clean up. It was so easy with the stainless steel cookware. Looking forward to another get together soon. This time for my birthday!!!!

It has been a very cold morning here, waking up to my husbands freshly brewed coffee in our Bunn Coffee Maker made me all cozy and warm inside. I love having a day off and knowing there is no rush to get dressed in this hurried world to be anywhere.

Our Bunn Coffee Maker makes the perfect amount of  coffee for the the two of us and a visit from mom. I would like to think I could drink all 10 cups, but I did save some for them!!! You will love this coffee maker. Have a warm and fuzzy winter, and happy coffee drinking from our family to yours!!

I had a blast with my nephew last night. He got to hang out with Me and his Uncle Kevin. I told him we could cook whatever his little heart desired. His choice, fried chicken. What a great choice it was. I have been craving some home cooked chicken and potato salad.

We got the fry pans ready and went to town cooking one of the best dishes I have made in a long time. He loved getting the chicken ready to fry in my fry pans. They are so easy to use and even easier to clean. When we sat down to eat and enjoyed our family time catching up on all of his daily school and sports activities. Happy New Year to you and Yours

I got home from work tonight very tired, wanting a simple but filling supper. The kids love salad. I don’t know how I got lucky with that, but they do love it. So I figure a good old salad with some great fettuccine pasta.

I love my kitchenworthy 3 piece salad and pasta set for just that. I made a wonderful salad full of fresh tomatoes, cucumber’s, onions, with grapes and croutons. The fettuccine was simple and yummy. What a simple easy great night. I even had enough me time since the clean up was so simple.

I have to say I am not one for all of the Holiday cooking. I do have to say that a little microwave quick warm up is the bomb with my microwave bowls for all the last minute heat up side dishes.

I love having the family over, but we all know it can get hectic. Just a little last minute side dish that everyone craves can be perfect in the microwave bowls  that I have come to love. Simple and Sweet. Enjoy

I am so excited about the New Year. I am a little nervous as well, I am having everyone over to my house for an early dinner. I love seeing all of my family and friends happy and in one place. The kids are not up for the dinner with the family part, but they always end up having a great time.

I am especially excited that I get to use my new, red, Gibson Dinnerware for the gathering. They are just perfect for the occasion and the red is so cheerful. I really loved all of the compliments I got on them. I have to keep an eye on my sister, she would love to start collecting mine one by one out my door!! Happy New Year to All.
